PLAYROOM REVEAL

After many months and a longer wait time than expected, I’m so excited to finally reveal the girl’s playroom.

Welcome to our playroom.

Once again we opted for a tranquil ambience consisting of soft tones to tie in with the nursery and bedroom. We also wanted to create a unisex area, despite the pink feature wall (I just couldn’t help myself) by adding a touch of monochrome into the decor. Im quite pleased with the outcome and the girls absolutely love it.

Being a lover of pink, I chose a gorgeous Bauwerk water base paint that has a textured look, and just as well happened to be non toxic and safe. This was important for us, being a playroom as the girls spend most of their time there, so it needed be safe.

A closer look at the details:

Once again, my husband did an amazing job and showed off his carpentry skills that he didn’t think he had and I think you would agree, the wall speaks for itself. I chose a cloud and house theme because it’s unisex and fun, so hubby brought my feature wall vision to life by creating a line of houses along the wall.

The room was divided into 3 areas once again; a relaxing area where the girls could choose to read or nap in their choice of a teepee, cloud mat or house bed; an art and craft area for Taliah to express her creativeness and learn and of course the play area, filled with the most beautiful toys that has kept them entertained for hours.

We specifically chose products with a minimalistic, look so we could have the freedom to add wall decals and accessorise, yet keep it simple. Once again, our choice of toys were for the present moment where Taliah could enjoy playing and Sienah can grow to love.

We hope you love our playroom as much as we loved creating it. It’s definitely an area where memories are made. We would like to once again thank all the wonderful stores that were involved to achieve the results. I highly recommend each and every store and their lovely operators, most of which are boss Mummas.
